About Us

Enviroboat Developments (EBD) is a private limited company established as a 'spin-off' from Coniston Ferry Services (CFS), a cruise and ferry service in the English Lake District that the directors of EBD founded in 1992. Practical experience of installing and operating hybrid solar-electric boat systems was gained in the conversion of the two CFS boats 'Ransome' and'Ruskin'.

EBD is the UK Motive Power Agent for Mastervolt, an international company based in Holland, that incorporates Bellman and Aquapella motors.

We are also the well-established European agent for Technipower, a USA based firm whose products have the reputation of being one of the most robust of marine electric propulsion systems.We are able to source components from several other suppliers, notably Barden, Dulas, and Torqeedo

We have always provided solar panels for the boating industry, We have lately have become involved in the supply of solar systems for commercial domestic land-based use and have established a sister company EasySolar to take this on more effectively.
